Have you ever wondered, you can’t leave footprints on the beach? And yet there are thousands of pictures and videos of people leaving the perfect footprint trail behind them, on the internet.
We spend so much time and energy, trying to be perfect, do perfect, get everything right; and in trying to achieve our idea of a perfect life, we forget the important things:
You can’t leave footprints on the beach.
Things go wrong.
Your job may not be perfect.
Relationships fail.
People leave.
Nothing is perfect; and nothing will ever be.
The only thing you can do, is find joy where you are, be happy with what you have; appreciate the little things: the sunsets, the seashells and the walk on the beach at sunset; because, in the blink of an eye it’s all gone and all you’ll be left with are the Memories ❤️❤️
P.S.: While you’re at a beach, or anywhere, please don’t litter. The beautiful pictures I’ve shared here are from Kashid Beach. I visited Kashid last year and while you don’t see it here, there was a lot of plastic waste just floating in the waters/accumulated on the beach side. It is, naturally, heartbreaking to see it. We were at the beach for 4 hours, 2 of which we spent cleaning and still couldn’t get rid of 1% of the plastic waste. 💔
